post production on a green screen

when  you use the green screen in the editing side of it you have to pick a background clip  that you want to use and then place the green screen clip and the background clip on to adobe premier and then click on edit and control and adjust the colour where you find it suitable and then it should be done.

you have to edit the green screen or you are not going to have a scene that looks dramatic.

these are the steps that are going to take place in to the post production

Step 1. Import to Computer When using color screens it is necessary to import your video into the computer program but also the image that will be used to replace the green or blue screen. Depending on the video editing software it may be necessary to have both clips open on the same timeline or to only work with the main video.

Step 2. Chroma Key The function to replace the color screens is referred to as a chroma key. In many ways replacing the green screen is very similar to working with mattes. Select the color or screen that will be replaced. If you use a green screen then anything that is the bright green color in the image will be replaced with the new background or image. This is where poor costume choice can be a problem.

Step 3. The Replacement Have the background replacement ready. Applying this to the clip may be as easy as merging the 2 images or you will need to go through and create multi matte layers. Each different software program will have its own tutorials about the best way to achieve this merging of the 2 images.

Step 4. Other Mattes When applying a chroma key matte it is also a good time to work with any other mattes depending on the type of effect for that shot. Many times the light source and light usage needs to be changed. Those just starting to work with green screen tend to have trouble properly lighting the screen when shooting, though this can be corrected in post production.

Step 5. Preview Before burning the video make sure you look at the preview to ensure that the green or blue screen replacement worked. If you are just starting to use this form of advanced editing it may take a few tries to achieve the desired result.

Step 6. The Video Many films shoot entirely behind the green screen and blue screen as it is impossible to shoot in the real area. Many times blue screen and green screen is much less expensive than building entire sets. Stock photographs can be easily obtained and used as a background replacement. For those just starting out chroma key mattes offer and easy and affordable way to create great movies and videos without building up huge bills.

Treatment

Its a music video about an average guy who is trying to juggle his job and family, but usually focuses on one and not much on the other. We will be conveying his last few days on earth before he kills himself due to getting a divorce and struggling in life it self. The reason for the divorce is that he spends a lot of time at work since a promotion and stays there till late hours to impress his boss which makes him miss dinner and quality family time. But thats not the only issue despite the fact he spends more time at work he still gets late due to lack of sleep and gets shouted at every day. This guy is the type who's wife is unhappy with him and has to sleep on the couch all most every night and go through today again tomorrow and the only way he can find an escape is to take his own life away. The song we will be using will be i'm no superman by Lazlo Bane.

The risks of recording some of the scenes at a house is that people or obstacles might get in the way when recording, such as steps, shoes, people and cars. A risk of recording at school might be tables and chairs might get in the way and also others recording their videos may disturb us. On the roof problems are death, trip, fall.

the types of music video

there are three types of music videos such as concept, performance and narrative.

firstly i will be talking about narrative music videos. these are video that usually tell a story through out the minutes. most of the videos that are narrative use shots such as close up, extreme close up and point of view shots.

concepts
concepts are usually random videos that have been put together by set up sequences. they are mostly taken by start and stop shots through out the video

The music video is about a business man in a hotel starting of too be formal and then as the song kicks in then he starts doing some moves. first his mood is formal like a normal business man would be like and then through out the music video while his dancing his facial expression stays the same which is dull this can be because a business man is formal and boring. The atmosphere around him is silent and dull also the main character is full of energy this might show that he is the only life around the area surrounding him.

mise en scene
firstly i will talk about his appearance in the video. The clothes he wear is very smart this shows that he is a important person for example a busness man. Also the props that are used in these several scenes are props thats you will find in a hotel such as the bell on the counter and the trolly. This also has further evidence that he could be a business man because they are always moving around different citys and countrys. Also he looks like a wealthy person the place he is in is looks like a  rich 5 star hotel this also has a impact of what kind of person he is.The lighting surrounding the area is dark this suggests that the protaganest is dancing while everybody is fast asleep. Also to support this is that there is no sign of any body else on the scene. The actor moves to every beat that plays and when the pace of the song picks up his body responceses faster however his facial expression stays the same which is dull.

There wer quite a few shots used in this video however the main one of the main shots were full body shot this portrays the subject to show the audience that every move he does has a impact to the song. also the camera was mainly taken from the middle part of the subjects body this makes it more dramatic. Also when he is flying in the air a long shot was used and then the subject flyed close in to the camers and it turned out to be a close up shot the change there became a transition shot from changing one shot to another. also quite a few panning shots was used to show that the subject is moving. The purpose of the video is for entertainment so the audience can listen to the music and see the a boring subject that turns fun. also it shows that a business man acting like a little child this portrays that business men are not always boring

I will start of with discussing about the location of where the music video was shot. The music video seemed like it was heavenly the location was at a field with lots of light around it this suggest that it is heavenly also the a point to support this is that the location its was set in was the green grass which shows a symbolism of life and nature. this might mean that this main subject is being released in to the new life which is death. also in the video the props such as the food was relating back to jesus and his last supper before he died also the instrument that was used and shown was a harp which symbolises a peacefulness which sets the scene

judging by the costumes which is mostly bright suggest that everyone including the back round dancers are symbolising angels that are giving away the main subject. also the colour white is another way to show purity and angels are pure and made out of light so that is a strong link between them. The hair and make up on the main subject is different than the back round dancers this also shows that there is only one protagnest.

The dance and movements of the dancers are as if they are drunk this suggest that they are like angels flying around in heaven. Also the face of the dancers have a smile this also shows a strong evidence that they are angels by staying positive at all times. The objects that was mainly used was food and a long table which was thrown on to the floor

The video is about two artists playing, tennis which they got together and promoted this song by staring in it. martin solveige is the protagonist in this music video where as bob Sinclare is the antagonist.
The music video tells a story about them playing a round of tennis match and martins solveige's is losing by a lot of points. then he see's his ex-girlfriend and thinking to him self he thought that she came to see him play so he starts playing like a professional and starts to catch up with bob Sinclare. when Martin was at his winning point he looks at his ex and sees her kissing another man and he throws in the towel and forfeits the match.

This also shows that DJ not only competitive towards tennis but the music as well.

The sound of the music was at a constant beat and had a repetition of hello through out the song.

The area that they used was a tennis court which looked similar to Wimbledon and the stadium was crowded this suggests that the game of tennis was serious also this shows the audience that bob and martin are under pressure.
